Had some news to share
Quote from Chris on April 28, 2024, 3:03 pmJust wanted to share with you guys that Gina's double mastectomy last Thursday was a success. She's been recovering the past couple days and doing decent. Happy to say that they were able to get all the plastic work done and she doesn't have anymore surgeries, as they thought it was possible she could have 1 or 2 more if the skin wasn't cooperating.
Also happy to sign all the test results have no come back. All the scans. Also sample tissue was sent to pathology. And they all show Gina, as of now, is cancer free. Still doesn't feel real that all of this is past of us now. It's been a long, long road since last August when she first found the lump. And I wouldnt wish this disease on my worst enemy. It's terrible in so many small ways that you don't really fully understand unless you go through it or know someone who has. And probably the hardest part is life keeps going. Work still has to get done, regular problems still pop up. There were so many times where I just wanted to quit and not deal with the problems anymore. But because of God's grace we made it. Thanks for all your support and prayers through this process. James 5:16 says the prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective and I've seen that happen all my life. Not a question of if, but when. I believe it. We're so blessed to have had so many people praying for us. Thank you
