Cards: Yeah technically when a team posts that a player has been cut, it's like they've been dropped in Yahoo and it's too late. But I think it'd be good to maybe pass a new rule in February that if a team cuts a player and someone else is interested in the player that the cutting team has 24 hours to still work a trade out. Kind of like when a MLB team DFA's someone, but can still trade the player away after. Might propose this rule change when hockey opens in a couple weeks.
