Tigers trade block: anyone over 30

Anyone over 30 for sale.

Kris Bryant and Jon Gray both signed already for next year so they'll cost more than current production.

Need prospect picks, FA picks, will consider other under-30 players or over-30 signed beyond this year.

Figure I'll make this as easy as possible - here's the trade block (age as of start of 2024 season):

1B/RF Joey Meneses (age 31): .280, 23 2B, 7 HR, 53 RBI

SS Javier Baez (age 31): .225, 7 HR, 47 RBI, 9 SB

UTL J.D. Martinez (age 36): .260, 20 2B, 25 HR, 74 RBI

TRADED to Padres: SP-eligible/RP Mark Leiter Jr. (age 33): 18 holds, 3 saves, 43.1 IP, 55 K, 3.12 ERA, 0.95 WHIP, .175 BAA

RP Paul Sewald (age 33): 20 saves, 42.0 IP, 59 K, 3.00 ERA, 1.02 WHIP, .200 BAA

RP Scott Barlow (age 31): 12 saves, 36.2 IP, 45 K, 5.15 ERA, 1.53 WHIP, .250 BAA

RP Will Smith (age 34): 17 saves, 5 holds, 37.0 IP, 38 K, 2.68 ERA, 0.81 WHIP, .169 BAA

SP Anthony DeSclafani (age 33): 4-8, 99.2 IP, 79 K, 4.88 ERA, 1.25 WHIP, .271 BAA

Also on the block:

CF Harrison Bader (age 29)

Bader went 3-for-4 with a double and two runs in Wednesday's 3-1 win over the Mets.

Advice: Bader collected half of the Yankees' hits in the contest, including the team's only extra-base hit with his second-inning double. That knock led to the team's second run, and Bader crossed the plate again in the fourth following a leadoff infield single. The veteran outfielder tied a season high with the three hits and recorded his first multi-hit game since July 3.
