IL is the same as IL+
You cannot make transactions while having healthy IL+ players on IL+. It’s treated the same as Roster IL.
Anyone on IL+ and healthy has to be added to your roster before any call ups or FA Adds
I’m tired of Angels/Chris going “well, it doesn’t explicitly say that.” It does not have to. IL+ transactions are the same IL. That is what was voted on. That is what everyone else follows.
If these shenanigans continue, this will be my last season in the league.
This needs to be addressed immediately.
Jason didn't say it in his post, but the problem he has is he thinks the rule is if you activate any players from IL+, all healthy players have to be added back to your Yahoo team all at once and that you can't leave any healthy players in IL+ still like I left Kurtz in IL+. So Jason doesn't think I should be allowed to start Grayson Rodriguez tonight because of it.
Pretty sure there's no rule that says what Jason is saying.
But I'll leave this to Ted to rule on and will do whatever he says to do.
Can we get more clarity. Was Grayson on your roster at the time?

Grayson was on my IL+. He's been hurt and on IL. Last night I cut Javier and Cowser to add Grayson and Machado back to my Yahoo roster. Jason is saying he thinks the rule is I can't leave Kurtz who is healthy on my IL+. He thinks the rule is everybody or nobody as in, either I add nobody back from my IL+ or everybody all at once.
Jason - Is that a correct interpretation? I think Chris can still leave Kurtz on IL+ (Don't know why he would want to though, I'd take him for $1) as long as he doesn't make any prospect call ups or FA Adds.
I do think there needs to be some clarity as we go into next season as to how long you stay over roster with healthy players on IL+. Hockey gives us DTD spots so this is not an issue.
Because you have to make a corresponding transaction when you add someone from IL+ back to the roster. You can't leave non-IL players hanging on Yahoo IL.
This stuff i just taking the fun out of everything. I'm quite frankly fed up with it.
Let's switch to a different online management system previously suggested here for next season or just get rid of IL+ at this rate.
hey all, this is a valid move. Chris is allowed to activate a player off IL or IL+. He does not have to activate ALL players at one time. Unless he makes a FA add, calls up a prospect, or makes a trade then he would be required to be fully in roster compliance given everyone's IL or IL+ status. It has been this way for a long time. I did this myself about a week. Had two guys on IL+ and only activated one.

Next time yahoo won’t let me activate someone because I still have someone on IL who shouldn’t be. I’ll circle back about the absurdity of this.
yahoo did not used to be that way. Our rule pre-dates yahoo changing that. In fact, you can still drop someone from IL and keep someone else in your IL without having to activate both. You just would not be able to get someone off IL+, and add them to your roster, if someone is in your yahoo IL and no longer IL or IL+ eligible. It is unfortunate that yahoo changed that but it does not change how we handle it.
