League Prospects

How is it that Angels can have 17 prospects when the limit is 15?

because of DFA rule voted in, for 24 hours he could have a trillion prospects

Technically, when a team acquires a protected prospect that puts the team above the 15 prospect limit, the team has 48 hours to open space and get down to 15. So yes, technically someone could trade for 100 prospects, but then would have to cut or trade 85 of them to get to 15 haha

Forgot to add. The 48 hours has nothing to do with the DFA rule, it's always been like this, applies to add and drop trades too. Been like this for years. We set the limit at 48 hours for a player to be added to your Yahoo team or else you risk losing that player. Same for the protected 15.

And also forgot to add that the exception to the 48 hour rule and the DFA rule is during both the prospect draft and FA draft.

Years ago, for the prospect draft we had decided that it's important that unprotecting prospects needs to be done when teams are posting their prospect picks. Same with FA draft.

So the 48 hours and DFA rules don't apply when we're in the 2 week draft period.
