WBC Cash?
I know change is very hard for this league but any appetite for cash awards for WBC accomplishments? Similar to what we do for All Star Game and HR Derby.
We did this in the Hockey League for the Olympics.
Could keep it simple like cash for Tournament MVP, Tournament HR Leader and something like Tournament K Leader (pitcher).
Something different and fun perhaps?

I'd be in favor of awarding $5 to tourney MVP and $5 to home run leader and $5 to SP with the most K's.

Sounds like fun. I'm for it just unsure of how much cash and for what so I would defer to the proposal from Chris. Would like to see more buy in from the rest of the league first though.
as a cash poor currently, i am fine with it. That's a selfish vote as i have not had time to think about it from a league perspective. Also selfishly i would be fine with it counting immediately lol
Does anybody oppose making the WBC cash awards official? If no one speaks up and opposes it, I say we make it official. And being that the WBC will be finishing after our resign deadline on Thursday, whoever wins the cash awards won't be able to use it for resigns.
Awards we're proposing is $5 for tournament MVP, $5 for home run leader, $5 for pitcher who's the strikeout leader.
Since no one objected to these WBC cash prizes, they are hereby official.

I object. I think the only category should be tournament MVP. Make it same as All-Star Game. The rosters are all messed up for this.
